MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting in North Memphis Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the shooting in the 2100 block of Eldridge Avenue after 12:30 p.m.
According to police, officers found a man at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
