MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after a shooting near a church in Parkway Village Friday, according to Memphis Police.

Around 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 4450 Knight Arnold Road near Olivet Fellowship Baptist Church . A man was located on the scene and transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, police say.

One person has reportedly been detained.
