MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two Memphis Airport Police officers suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon.
The officers were conducting a traffic stop near the airport just before 4 p.m. when they were struck, an airport spokesperson said.
They were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
A third officer reportedly fire a single shot at the suspect vehicle as it fled. The vehicle fled north and caused a two-car accident and then left the area.
Authorities are actively investigating.
