Health department officials address Shelby County Commission

Leaders with the Shelby County Health Department are scheduled to speak before the Shelby County Commission on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the Shelby County Health Department reported 277 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 17,255. It’s believed that there are 5,002 active cases, 12,002 recoveries and 251 deaths associated with coronavirus.

More than 178,000 tests have been performed in Shelby County to date.
