OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — A fire broke out at a Lake of the Ozarks condominium in central Missouri, killing four children.

Osage Beach Fire Chief Jeff Dorhauer told KOMU-TV  the fire broke out late late Tuesday night at the condominium.

He says two adults were rescued and the four children were taken to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The children are between 2 and 5 years old.

Dorhauer says the fire damaged all eight units in the building at the Compass Pointe Condos.

The names and ages of the victims haven’t been released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
