News Channel 3 has confirmed Albert Marchionda has been charged with sexual battery by an authority figure.
The former Collierville High School softball coach is out on bond this afternoon.
Marchionda resigned in March after allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with more than one student.
He is due back in court April 24th.
