MPD releases picture of Frayser bank robbery suspect

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for a man wanted for robbing First Tennessee Bank on North Watkins Street in Frayser.

MPD says the robbery happened around noon on Saturday.

Police say the suspect came into the bank, posed as a customer then pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Although the suspect was armed, no one was injured during the robbery.

Police say the suspect walked out of the bank with cash and was last seen running on foot.

The suspect is described as black male, dark complexion, 6 foot, 175 pounds, last seen wearing a black heavy hoodie, black skull cap, and dark colored pants. He was armed with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun.
