MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis firefighters battled a large fire at an old apartment building in Midtown early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday on Poplar Ave. near McNeil St.
Traffic is stopped in the area.
Firefighters say flames were coming through the roof by the time they arrived on the scene.
Investigators say the building is vacant, and there have been no reports of any injuries.
