MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One of the cases against a suspect serial rapist has been dismissed.

Memphis Police told WREG the case against Darrin Walker was thrown out after the victim failed to appear in court.

WREG reported back in October, Walker was arrested for the alleged rapes of three women.

After finding his car at a local hotel and executing a search warrant for a home on Spring Leaf Lane, Police learned Walker had fled the area.

He was later caught at a bus terminal in Dallas.

On Monday, he was scheduled to appear in court along with his accuser.

She did not appear.

Police said Walker could still be indicted in this case at a later date.

In addition, two other rape cases are still under investigation at this time.
