COVINGTON, Tenn. — Tears rolled down their faces as family members watched investigators carry Crystal Herbert-Weathers out of her Covington home.
Family members said Herbert-Weathers was shot and killed by her boyfriend, Windal Edwards.
Herbert-Weathers left behind three children, all of whom were home when she was killed.
Family members said Edwards went so far as to point the gun at the oldest child before she ran for help.
The murder happened at the Canterbury Apartments.
Police are still investigating.
