(Memphis) A burglary suspect involved in a seven hour standoff with Memphis police is headed back to Southaven to face a number of charges.

The man was wanted for a business break-in in Southaven, but police say he caused a lot of trouble when he tried to run from officers.

"A whole of stuff went down," said Cornell McFadden

Mcfadden says he was forced out of his house last night after the man barricaded himself inside his mother's house next door.

"My brother said man he saw the young man jump the fence and bang on his momma’s door and she opened the door and said what’s wrong," said McFadden.

Southaven Police say this all began Thursday afternoon when they spotted an SUV suspected in T-Mobile burglary earlier in the day.

They say the woman behind the wheel almost hit an officer and was involved in an accident at Elvis Presley and Brooks, and another at 240 and Airways.

She was eventually arrested at Kingsview and Vista, but before police took her into custody, a man in her vehicle  jumped out and ran to his mother's house nearby.

He was captured seven hours later after a  TACT Unit was called in and raided the home.

Police say in one of the accidents, the one at Elvis Presley and Brooks, a 10-year-old was transported to the hospital, but is expected to be OK.

The man is 22-year-old Clifton Spencer of Memphis. He is charged with burglary of a business and conspiracy to commit a felony.

The woman is 19-year-old Khadijah Wilson, also of Memphis. She is charged with aggravated assault of an officer and felony fleeing an officer. She also has traffic charges.
