MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A body was found in the Loosahatchie River near Frayser on Thursday, Memphis Police said.

Police said around 4 p.m. that the body was located in the river near 382 Klinke Ave.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office later identified the man as Jimmy Johnson of Somerville, Tennessee.

The cause of death is unknown at this point.
