Amber Alert canceled for missing girl from Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A statewide Amber alert that was issued early Friday morning for a missing one year old from Chattanooga has been canceled.

WREG has learned that Octavia Shaw and the man accused of kidnapping her Matias Martinez were located early Friday morning after someone spotted the pair and called police.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Shaw was taken by Martinez after a traffic stop. They were last seen on foot on Boyscout Road in Chattanooga.

An active warrant was issued for Martinez on kidnapping charges.
