(Memphis) Fifteen year-old Sharquette Smith was one of three killed during a violent weekend in Memphis.

According to MPD, Smith was leaving a graduation party at 566 Sharon Drive after an altercation inside. Police have charged 18 year-old Antwion Dowdy for walking up to a car and firing inside, shooting Smith.

Smith was taken to Methodist North by friends were he was pronounced dead.

“A gold ford Taurus pulled back up and just started shooting a gun. They were shooting at that particular kid,” said neighbor Todd Guy who arrived after the shooting late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

“A lot of kids. A bunch of kids. They kept waking to Exxon, coming back and smoking pot over there,” remembered Guy.

Two others were killed and two others were injured when an argument between two women erupted in gun fire Sunday evening at the Woodbridge Crossing Apartments on Ketchum.

Police are still looking for the suspects in that case. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 582-CASH.
