MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police hope their posts on Facebook and Twitter will help get the word out on a suspected dangerous criminal.

He's 18-year-old Demarco McKinley.

A woman said he pointed an AK-47 at her head while she was warming up her rental car in her Orange Mound driveway on Inman Road in January.

She was about to leave for work.

"It was really cold outside. It was like 25 degrees," said the victim who asked to remain anonymous for safety reasons. "When I looked back up, the gun was right here in my face."

Two strangers stood on the both sides of her rental car.

"The young guy grabbed me out of the car," she said.

The men then reportedly took her phone and purse, got into her car and sped down Larkspur.

Investigators found the car days later at Hilltop Apartments, not even a mile from her home.

They said it's a common drop spot for stolen vehicles.

Police said evidence pointed them to McKinley.

McKinley just turned 18 in September, and already he's wanted on ten charges including robbery, carjacking and aggravated assault.

He was arrested twice last year too.

He was out on bond when he allegedly committed the carjacking.

As for the victim, she said her husband now walks her to her car every morning before work because her peace of mind is gone.

"It could have been my last moment. Nobody out here to see nothing. I could have been laying out here in the yard, but I thank god I wasn't," she said.

Police said McKinley is wanted for a robbery, burglary and possibly other violent crimes.

He could be anywhere in Memphis, but it's also possible he has left they city altogether.

His last known address is in Orange Mound at Barron Court Apartments.

WREG went by there, but didn't have any luck finding him.
