    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A security guard at the FedEx Freight facility on Winchester is in critical condition after he was hit by a hit & run driver late Wednesday. Police say a tractor trailer hit the security guard and the driver kept going. At last check, police said they had not made any arrests. Police had lanes in both directions in Winchester blocked for a time — but all lanes are now back open.

Officers were called to Kroger Grocery Store in the 3800 block of Austin Peay around 9:00 p.m. Monday night. The suspect was last seen wearing a brown jacket with a hood.   • MPD investigating South Memphis shooting

    MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis police are investigating a shooting in South Memphis. Officers responded to shots being fired in the 2300 block of Twain just after 8:00 p.m. Thursday  night.     MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis police are searching a north Memphis neighborhood for a carjacking suspect. Police got the call around 8:30p.m. Monday night.     MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis police are on the scene of a shooting and stabbing  in Frayser. Officers were called to the 2300 block of Frayser Blvd. around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
