Bridget joined the WREG news team as a reporter in July 2016.
She previously worked as the crime and courts reporter for the CBS affiliate in Yakima, Washington. During her time in the Pacific Northwest, she was awarded by the Society of Professional Journalists for her breaking news coverage of an officer being shot while serving a warrant.
Bridget found her passion for telling other people’s stories and experiencing new places while being raised in the ski town of Park City, Utah.
She attended San Diego State University where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in journalism and a minor in English.
While in California, she worked as a freelance writer, a news writer for NBC San Diego and rode her beach cruiser as much as possible.
Bridget’s now excited for her new adventure in Memphis. She enjoys the outdoors, all animals and a frequent cup of coffee. Feel free to message her with any story ideas you may have.
