One man in critical condition after being shot at a South Memphis gas station.

SOUTH MEMPHIS — A man is in critical condition after being shot at a South Memphis gas station.

Memphis police received a shots fired call at the Marathon Gas Station, on the corner of South 3rd Street and East Mallory Avenue, around 11:30 Tuesday night.

Officers arrived on scene and found one man with a gunshot wound to the head.

The fire department took the victim to the Regional Medical Center.

At this time, police are still investigating the situation.
