Coroner: Driver killed after accident sends vehicle into ditch in Byhalia identified

BYHALIA, Miss. — One person is dead after a car accident in Marshall County, Mississippi.

On Tuesday, authorities identified the driver as 68-year-old Tommy Horn of Byhalia.

Officers said Horn was driving on French Road near Neely early Monday morning when the vehicle traveled off the roadway. It went off the bridge and plunged 12 to 15 feet into a ditch. The accident reportedly trapped several people inside, but authorities have  not been able to tell us exactly how many individuals were there.
