Mississippi police identify four suspects arrested after police chase

WALLS, Miss.— Four men are in custody after a pursuit and manhunt in Walls, Mississippi Tuesday evening, The Mississippi Highway Patrol said.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol identified the suspects as Christopher Campbell, Demetrius Moore, Markeith Taylor and Danterio Owens. All four were charged with felony fleeing.
Tuesday night Carolyn Hickman said she was watching throughout the evening as deputies searched a wooded area for suspects.

"There was like every law enforcement for DeSoto County here."

The Mississippi Highway Patrol confirms they tried pulling over the men for speeding. But they gave chase and bailed on foot near Goodman Road and Highway 61.

Hickman spoke to us shortly after deputies had tracked down three suspects. One of them was taken away in an ambulance rep

She continued watching until deputies had a fourth suspect about an hour later.

"There was no damage. Apparently, they had stopped right there facing ongoing traffic and jumped out running," she said.
