One dead in shooting at Collierville industrial park

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — One person was killed and a suspect was in custody Friday night after a shooting at a Collierville industrial park.

Capt. Chris Locke with Collierville police said the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m.

The area around the Progress Park industrial area on the eastern edge of the city was blocked off by police.

On Sunday afternoon, Collierville Police identified the victim as 50-year-old Bruce Henderson of Cordova.

Tremaine York, 21, of Moscow, Tennessee, has been charged with first degree murder. York was Henderson’s former coworker.

No bond has been set for York.
