One dead, one injured in Raleigh shooting

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Police are investigating after a person was found dead at the scene of a homicide in the 4400 block of Walden Glenn Cove in Raleigh.

Earle Farrell, spokesperson for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed one person was dead from an apparent gunshot wound, and another was seriously injured after being pistol whipped.

Authorities are investigating the crime as a domestic incident.
