Police: Burned car was rented by missing California man

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department has confirmed that a vehicle found in Southwest Memphis on Nov. 14 is the car that was rented out by a missing California man, Sean Turner.

Turner was visiting family in Memphis when he went missing. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was found at Forrester and West Mitchell Road.

Turner has not been located at this point.

The case is being worked by both the missing persons and homicide divisions of Memphis Police.
