Foo Fighters postpone Memphis, Nashville concerts
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Foo Fighters on Sunday announced the band was postponing their concerts in Memphis and Nashville due to an unspecified family emergency.
The Memphis concert that was supposed to take place Tuesday was rescheduled for May 3, 2018, while a new date for the Nashville show on Monday had not been set, according to the group’s verified Twitter account.
The band had postponed a concert in Kentucky, hours before the band was expected to take the stage.
The Grammy-winning rock band has been on tour to support its new album, “Concrete and Gold.”
The band’s public relations firm said in a news release Saturday afternoon that the concert at Lexington’s Rupp Arena, which was scheduled for later that night, will now take place on May 1.
No further details were given about the family emergency.
