Mayor discusses upcoming confederate statues meeting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Tennessee Historical Commission is reversing course and saying they will take up a request this week from the City of Memphis to remove two confederate statues from city parks.

They had previously intended to delay the vote until early next year.
