MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis doctor has spent his life helping people around the world.

Dr. William Novick, a world-renowned cardiac surgeon, and his teams have helped saved thousands of children in more than 30 countries.

Now he's about to leave on a very specific mission to help Syrian refugees.
