MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Javonii Merritt has made history as the first African American female rugby player in Memphis to earn a college scholarship.

It's all thanks to a group that's introducing the sport to many students who otherwise wouldn't get a change to play it.

Shane Young with Memphis Inner City Rugby joined Javonii on Live at 9 to talk about the incredible experience.
