MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two families in Northaven were displaced after a fire ripped through their homes Friday morning.

It happened in the 5200 block of Bitter Creek Drive.

Fire officials said four boys ages 10 to 14 were burning trash when the house caught on fire.

They were reportedly at home alone.

The fire quickly spread to a neighbor’s house, causing it too to go up in flames.

Firefighters quickly began knocking on doors getting surrounding neighbors out of their home as a precaution.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.
