Family escapes after tree crashes through house

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis family escaped their home after a tree crashed through part of it.

Family members say they were awoken around 4 a.m. by the crashing sound.

A woman and several children were reportedly inside.

The house is in the 1600 block of Evelyn Avenue near Rozelle Street in Midtown.

No one was injured.
