Man turns himself in after two men shot in Oxford

OXFORD, Miss. — Two men were flown to the Regional Medical Center after a shooting in Oxford, Mississippi Thursday night.

According to authorities, they were called to the 1300 block of North Lamar Boulevard after shots were fired. When they arrived two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Joshua Flemmons and 38-year-old Patrick Spearman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Flemmons is in non-critical condition and Spearman is listed as critical.

Police say 30-year-old Rick Mabry surrendered to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.

No charges have been filed yet.
