Two charged in murder of Clarksdale man thrown from car and run over

CLARKSDALE, Miss. -- Two men are charged with the murder of a Clarksdale man.

Christopher Johnson, 35, and 25-year-old Darryl Thompson are in custody.

Police say Earl Baines was shot and then dumped near a stop sign at Tallahatchie and Hicks February 13.

He was then intentionally run over.
