Many Memphis streets scheduled to be repaved

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some Memphis streets are getting a makeover.

In his State of the City address, Mayor Jim Strickland said the city will pave more streets and fill more potholes this year than in the recent past.

Strickland also said the budget for paving has increased 10 percent.
