SAN ANTONIO — Police in San Antonio say they have responded to a shooting at a large shopping mall.

The police chief said one person was killed and five others were wounded Sunday at Rolling Oaks Mall.

Three of the wounded were hurt by gunshots, and the other two suffered other injuries.

Police said one of the suspects was hurt and transported to the hospital, but the other suspect escaped and is at large.

The chief also said it was a robbery that turned into a shooting.

Video from local television stations showed police cars and at least two ambulances at the mall.
