MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Fayser man is set to be sentenced after he was convicted of killing two men at a motorcycle bar back in 2014.

Robert “Carlos” Taylor was convicted on two counts of second-degree murder Friday. He is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

Eric Whitaker and Jonathan Triplett were both killed during a fight at the Genlemen’s Club motorcycle bar in the 2000 block of Chelsea in April 2014.

Whitaker was shot in the chest and pronounced dead on the scene. Triplett was shot three times and died a short time later at the hospital.

On Friday, Taylor was also convicted of two counts of being a felon in the possession of a handgun.
