City Watch issued for missing Cordova child

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police officers and Shelby County deputies are searching for missing 10-year-old boy in the Cordova area.

Police say 10-year-old Jacob Howell was last seen at Chimneyrock Elementary around 8:45 a.m. Thursday.

Overnight, search teams combed the nearby neighborhood looking for any sign of the missing boy — but so far, they haven’t found him.

Deputies also searched in the area surrounding his home at the Lincoln at Wolfchase Apartments near I-40 and Germantown Parkway.

Jacob is 4’2″ tall and weighs around 120 lbs. He was last seen wearing a red Spiderman pullover jacket and khaki pants.

Police are asking anyone with information to call MPD at (901) 545-COPS.


Police have informed us that Howell has been located.
