Plane carrying Tigers football team grounded after sensor goes off
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Tigers football team was in for a slight delay on their way to Cincinnati for Friday’s game.
WREG’s Glenn Carver and Mike Ceide were told the team had already taken off when a sensor went off saying there was a problem with the tail.
The pilot immediately circled back around and landed at Wilson Air.
They were ultimately delayed an hour and 20 minutes before the plane was cleared for takeoff again.
The team has since arrived in Cincinnati.
