I-40 ramp reopens after closure due to overturned truck

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The ramp from I-240 northbound to I-40 eastbound is back open after being closed for hours overnight due to an overturned tractor trailer near the I-40/240 Flyover.

Police say the truck overturned around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The ramp was shut down until just before 5 a.m.

During the closure, traffic was rerouted around the crash site.

There are no reports of any injuries due to the accident.
