Man wanted for murder outside Memphis Kmart is in custody

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man wanted for a murder outside a Memphis Kmart store is in custody.

Artavius Brown, Sr. is charged with second-degree murder.

Investigators say Brown took off after shooting his ex-girlfriend's new fiance' this past Sunday.

Reginald Williams died from his injuries in a Kmart parking lot.

Police say there was an altercation during the parental exchange and a shot was fired.

Brown took off with his one-year-old-son.

The child was dropped off at a police station and was not hurt.
