MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Take a look at this face.

Police said this man went on a 4 month spree snatching smokes.

Memphis Police said Devin Merriweather targeted discount stores.

They think he hit at least 11 stores and swiped up to $30,000 worth of stolen goods, mainly cigarettes.

Because cameras were rolling managers were able to identify Merriweather who often used trash bags to stash his cigarettes.

At this Dollar General, he`s accused of walking in empty handed and walking out with a garbage bag full of $11,000 worth of cigarettes.

Police records obtained by WREG show in other cases victims said he used laundry baskets to hide his loot.

Police said surveillance cameras even caught Merriweather prying open the manager`s office and stealing money from the wallets of employees at several scenes.

Crime reports showed Merritweather didn't travel far, targeting stores like Dollar General and Fred`s which are both on Lamar Avenue.

Merriweather didn`t just use the front door he often went through the side door ignoring signs that cameras were watching.

But police said his boldness is what got Merriweather busted.

Officers arrested him after several managers picked him out of a photo line up.
