Strong storms move through the area

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --  Strong storms moved through the WREG viewing area Thursday morning.

Flash Flood Warnings were in effect for several counties as the rain came fast and strong.

Some storms had high winds, heavy rains, and small hail.

MLGW reported power outages, with as many as 2400 accounts out at the height of the storm.

Most will see a high in the lower 90s, with heat index values near 100.

There is a small chance for rain later today.

It's very unlikely there will be any more storms.

An unsettled weather pattern over the next several days means increased rain chances and decreased temperatures through Sunday.
