MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are in the hospital after an overnight shooting at a South Memphis nightclub.

Police say the shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday at the J&B Lounge on Walnut Street just south of E.H. Crump Blvd.

Dispatchers say two people were taken to the Regional Medical Center — at least one of the victims was in critical condition.

So far, police haven’t released any information about what led to the shooting or a description of the suspect.

If you were in the area and saw anything, call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.

This is the second shooting at J&B Lounge in the last year.

Back in November, a 40-year-old man was shot outside the club.
