The Bass Pro employee, shot during the weekend rampage, is speaking out about what happened.

The 21-year-old is one of three people police say Justin Welch shot Saturday night shortly before running over and killing Officer Verdell Smith.

Two bullets hit Christopher Dickens. One grazed his leg; another was removed from his arm. He says his phone stopped a third bullet from hitting his side.

This morning, Christopher Dickens is recovering at home, but the other two victims are still in the hospital with serious injuries.

39-year-old Joshua Walton was hit in the shoulder, and 57-year-old Abdul Sakan was shot in the neck.

Both were injured outside Westy's in the Pinch District.

Owner Jake Schorr is Live at 9.
