Man wanted for exposing himself to teen in local restaurant

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for a man accused of exposing himself to a female minor.

Authorities said on Sunday, April 24, they received the call from the McDonald’s in the 3800 block of East Shelby Drive.

A 16-year-old told police a man, approximately 30 to 40-years-old, walked into the business and took a seat in the back of the dining area near the bathrooms.

While she was on break, the man began talking with the victim, at which point he reportedly exposed himself.

The suspect took off running when the teen went to notify the manager.

The company that manages the restaurant released the following statement:

“We are aware of an incident which occurred at our store yesterday. We will continue to strive to make our store a welcoming environment for our workers and our customers.”

The man reportedly jumped into a dark-colored vehicle and left.
