MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for the person who slammed his car into a home on North Claybrook Friday night.

Authorities say a Chevrolet Malibu was heading southbound when it swerved off the road and hit a home in the 800 block.

Another vehicle parked in the driveway of the home was also hit.

After the impact, the male driver was reportedly seen fleeing the scene.

One person inside the home was rushed to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

WREG was told the person who was hit was not the homeowner.
