Police investigating overnight shooting in Whitehaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for clues — after a man showed up at a police precinct with a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim showed up at Raines Station on East Raines Road around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim told police he’d been shot over in Southwest Memphis near Weaver Road and Levi Road.

Police searched the area but couldn’t find a crime scene.

The victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center — but is expected to be OK.
