Sirens accidentally set off prior to Tuesday’s storms

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — The sirens in West Memphis, Arkansas could be heard Tuesday afternoon, but it wasn’t because of the storms.

According to the West Memphis Fire Chief, they were testing their alert system when it was accidentally set off.

The department contacted the media in order to let people know there is no danger at this time.
