Police looking for a man who broke into apartment, shot tenant in Hickory Hill

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police say they're searching for a man who broke into a Hickory Hill apartment and shot a tenant Thursday night.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of Waterstone Oak Way,

At some point during the crime, a person in the apartment was shot.

Officers don't have a good description of the gunman, but said he got away in a silver Ford Taurus.

Two other men were reportedly in the car.

The victim was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
