New Orleans based airline starting service from Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — New Orleans-based airline GLO has announced that it is adding non-stop service between Memphis International Airport and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

Flights will begin in November.

There will be two flights daily Monday-Friday and once daily on Saturdays and Sundays. .

GLO will offer air service via 30-passenger Saab 340B aircraft.

This is the 11th new air service addition for 2015 according to the airport.

In a news release MSCAA President and CEO Scott Brockman said, “We are happy to bring back non-stop service to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and to add GLO to our growing air service family. While we take time today to celebrate the potential GLO brings to the mid-south, our focus will soon return to making MEM the airport of choice for this region.”
