Craigmont Middle School student missing

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police have issued a City Watch alert for a missing endangered child.

Amanei Lewis, 12, was last seen at about 7 a.m. Tuesday walking down Covington Pike away from her school, Craigmont Middle School, police said.

Police said she might be with an unknown adult male.

Amanei is described as a 5-foot-8 black female who weighs about 230 pounds and has medium-length black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and black skirt and had a black and white backpack.
