TIPTON COUNTY, Tenn. -- Tipton County Deputies said they're hunting for a group of armed and dangerous men who tried to run a member of the Air Force off the road and even aimed their guns at him.

The victim told investigators he was on Old Memphis Road near Whaley when four men in a white Jeep Cherokee started harassing him on Thursday.

According to a report from Tipton County Deputies, Air Force member Bryan Kamerzink said there were four men with black bandannas covering their faces in the Jeep, and at one point two of them pointed a rifle and gun at him.

"My baby cousin who just came home from the military and is back with his family. It's ridiculous," said Michelle Kamerzink, the victim's cousin. "I think it's a random act of violence. Somebody asked if he got the plate? He said, 'No! Do you really think I'm going to slow down and let them get in front of me?' He just kept going and went to the police station."

Deputies said as soon as they got the call, they canvassed the area, but there was no sign of the suspects.

"We didn't use to have this kind of problem. The world is just turning around," said Buzzy Bryan, who lives feet from where it happened. "It's getting worse. It's getting worse. This little town used to be quiet. Now, it's like a big city. Police Officers are doing all they can do. Counties are doing all they can do."

A detective is working the case trying to put the pieces together and find out what lead up to it all.

In the meantime, TCSO said the group of guys could be anywhere, and they're considered armed and dangerous.
